4.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for I needed a new phone, but wasn't going to pay an arm and a leg while planning and paying for a wedding. I found this phone and so far so good but you definitely get what you pay for. Pros: Price, Size, Color options Cons: Camera quality (has 3 back cameras but they are not good), blue light filter is weird, no wireless charging and can be slow and laggy. I'm not high maintenance when it comes to my tech, so i should get a good year or two out of it. But when I have the money, I will certainly choose to upgrade. 20 people found this helpful

4.0 out of 5 stars Budget friendly & efficient I have to say that I looked at this phone for a couple of weeks before deciding to buy it. Now that I have purchased it I am pleased with my purchase. The majority of the reviews I read were favorable but there were a couple of unfavorable ones that stood out which made me second guess my choice.It was mentioned that this phone is not 4G well it says LTE which from my research is synonymous to 4G, the phone that I had prior to this was 4G which I really did not have any issues with. This phone supports 4G, 3G and 2G.Setup: This was a simple process for me. I went to my carrier's website and added the IMEI for my new phone to switch service from my old device to the new one. I downloaded the Smart switch app on both the old and new device, this enabled me to basically copy all my apps, contacts, files etc.The sticker on the phone is in Spanish but don't let that be a turn off as with any phone you can set your device up to the language of your choosing.I am satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it as a great introductory phone if you are looking at a Samsung for the first time if you don't need 5G and if you are looking to spend less than $150.00 then this phone is for you. 3.0 out of 5 stars Good phone if you're on a budget I was a little hesitant since this was the first phone by Samsung I bought that wasn't the main S series and I regret getting it.Pros:Camera - having a 50mp lens sounds nice and while having a higher mp for your camera sounds nice and is generally what you want, it's not something that's gonna make you tell everyone you know about. There's a mode on the A14 camera where you use it to it's potential and while it's noticeable, it's not a huge difference between my daily S10e.Sound - this phone can get very loud without headphones which can be either good or bad but if you're blasting the phone with no one caring around you, why can't this be just a good thing?Color - the huge screen is nice to watch shows/videos/movies on and the colors on it are very vivid--as expected from any Samsung phone. Also this green is a very nice color that most phones don't have as an option coming out of the box.Cons:Ram - now this was a HUGE reason why I decided to return this phone. It might be because it only has 4gb ram, or that the processor is different than the Snapdragon processors found in the S series phones, but this phone was very obviously, noticeably, and painfully slow. I'm a patient person but it got to the point where it was frustrating just opening an app that doesn't require much ram. When it came to streaming videos on YouTube that was fine, but doing some gaming or going on Instagram it was very laggy and felt delayed and slow with response time. This problem was more obvious on Instagram. All the videos were playing but the audio wasn't synced with the video and that goes to show you how slow the phone is. I've tried many ways to fix this issue; a clean reinstall, clearing cache, resetting the phone, but it kept persisting and Instagram is one of the apps I use often so having it continue was not going to work for me.NFC - although not a huge con, it is useful to have NFC on your phone whereas this version of the A14 doesn't come with NFC.No stereo speaker - this A14 doesn't have a speaker on the top side by the camera unlike most phones so when you're listening to anything on this phone, it's only coming from the bottom/right side of the phone by the charger.Touch responses - it might be paired with the ram/speed situation but the touch response was off about this phone. I use Gboard to swipe text and while I've had no problems using swipe text on my S10e, this one kept ending my swipes early, inputting words with letters I was never even close to swiping on. It made texting very frustating.Video recording - while the camera is nice, recording videos on this phone is very limited. You can't do 1080p 60fps so you're locked to 1080p 30fps which isn't bad but having the option would've been nice. Granted this phone was less than $200 so you might have expected less features. 49 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Many applications work better with an Android phone I have an ios smartphone 14 and like it quite a bit. But I also have many applications and electronic devices (most of which I think are made in the far east) which have the applications first designed for Android phones and then later for ios phones. So, I bought this phone, not to use it as a phone to make calls through a cellular provider, but just as a controller and home for my applications for many of my electronic equipment (cameras, telescopes, etc.). And, it has met my hopes perfectly. That is not to say that equipment I have doesn't also have an ios app developed for them. But, in one very disappointing experience, I purchased an astronomy camera prior to 2000 that had an app on the App Store. But due to the coronavirus there was a big drop off in sales and the company I purchased the camera from in Singapore seemed to stop paying for their app to remain active on Apple's app store. One day the app just stopped working. I am in a facebook group of people who have the same camera but use it with their android phone. The app to control this camera was still live on the google play store. When I got this camera, I downloaded the app and it works perfectly now with my camera. I guess the companies based in the far east just love android phones first and more. Just my thought. I could be wrong but have definitely had other devices apps drop off the app store. I bought two of these items and one arrived without the top half I’m trying to figure out my next step this message is actually for amazon.i hope they see it . Amazon actually have proven to be quite reliable and I’m sure this will be fixed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding You're not going to get a better phone for the price. This Samsung phone is amazing, best I've had since my Note 8. The price is fantastic and for being refurbished, it looks brand new. Lightning fast, superb Samsung quality. I was on a bit of a budget so after my last phone nightmare, I figured I would spend a little bit more and try this one out and I'm not disappointed. Battery life is amazing, the phone is super fast, setup is easy. Works great with mint mobile. Again, for being refurbished, it literally looked brand new, and it came in great packaging, everything was clean and sealed. Brand new charger. I love my phone I love the green backing. it works and operates just fine I just went from a Galaxy a23 my phone stopped working and I really needed a phone quick fast in a hurry I saw this phone on Amazon and I read the reviews and I said you know what why not I gave it a shot definitely worth the bang for the buck again it Works nicely camera really good it has a lot of storage and it works on response the only con I have is that it is not 5G but that is okay because it takes 2G 3G and 4G and it shows just fine on any app it does not lag and it is very clear with a nice big screen also it came on time with no scratches or dents it came with everything I needed. 5.0 out of 5 stars Good Phone. Good Price. Good Value. I purchased this phone just recently. I have found it to be a good value, well built mobile phone so far. I use the Ting Network which is powered by T-Mobile, which worked with this phone. The phone came new and sealed. I received a new Samsung A14 4g LTE Green Mobile Phone, a sim ejector tool, a wall charger, a usb-c to usb-c cable that fits with the charger, that I received. I did not receive a memory card as some reviewers have said, but that's ok since I had a mini SD card already. I also bought accessories on Amazon.com for my mobile phone. I purchased an Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-A 2.0 Fast Charger Cable (I connected this cable to my computer to charge my phone), a very nice phone case, and Panasonic over-the-ear headphones (The Samsung A14 4g LTE has a headphone jack by the way). They seem to be good quality phones with lots of cool features. However, the charger they came with overheats and causes the phone to act like it is being unplugged and plugged back up over and over. These chargers get very hot and I felt like they were a fire hazard. We threw ours away and got new chargers which seem to be working fine with the phones. 3 people found this helpful

Ordered this phone as a replacement to my LG.Seems to be ok, a bit clunky and overly loaded with apps and other nonsense garbage from manufacturer.Of note: Phone has to be activated via webpage of your carrier, otherwise it won't work. Sub out sim cards, contact carrier, and activate. Simple process, but maybe some of you didn't know that. Easy to do but mandatory to use phone. 7 people found this helpful

3.0 out of 5 stars Setup guide is missing When I am able to use this phone - I am sure I will like it; however, without any startup guide in English it may be awhile before I can use my new phone. The phone did not include any guidance, the internet had a manual for the 5G Galaxy A14, but nothing for my G4. I did order a third-party user manual in book form from store on the web. So, for now I'm irritated, but since I am 81, I have learned to wait. It is just that I have not learned to enjoy waiting! I suspect my experience is the result of my own misunderstanding.

But this phone leave a bit to be desired and then some.Pros.Great storage , Beautiful screen, Nice feel, decent camera. nice looking phone.Cons. They say it has 4 gigs of ram. it does not act like it. RAm Plus 2/4 gig of Virtual Ram is a joke.Phone receives calls but does not ring. (happend several times.)Battery last less than 2days even when on stand by.Antennae seems under powered.Real quirky on GPSSpeaker could be louder.Dialing is quirky when you use it.CPU gets hot on the most basic games.Screen constantly turns off even after changing the time out.I've talk to Samsung several times about the issues that I am having. The went in and then told me that I needed to start the phone in safe mode. But did not articulate what I needed to do in safe mode. after they went in and did something to it. It wiped the cache on everything on the phone. It would have helped if they had told me ahead of time. Still did not fix the issues.I heard that Samsung's were great phones. unfortunately for me that was not the case.I do not foresee myself purchasing another Samsung. 9 people found this helpful

I got the silver, black and green, they all came brand new, boxes were sealed and truly unlocked. My family in the Philippines were able to use the phones straight from the boxes. The screen bezels are a lot. And it's thick. And it's plastic.No further complaints.I have 3 Moto G series phones in the drawer for backups, and I loved them. I chose them for their specs compared to Samsung's ugly budget competition over the years, but always envied Samsung's bells and whistles. And this one's pretty.
